Notice from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Barbados Reminding Chinese Citizens to Guard Against Meteorological Hazard

Recently, a Chinese citizen in Barbados went missing while fishing at sea. The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Barbados reminds Chinese citizens in Barbados to pay close attention to weather forecasts as the hurricane season approaches and to take the following precautionary measures in advance:

1.Closely monitor weather warnings and changes.

Weather information and disaster prevention guidance can be found on the official website of the Barbados Meteorological Services:

2.Strengthen personal safety awareness.

Exercise caution when participating in water activities such as sea fishing, fishing, and diving, and strictly adhere to the principle of not going out to sea in windy or rough weather conditions.

3.Make adequate disaster preparedness arrangements.

Check the safety of doors and windows, water, electricity, and gas facilities in your residence, and familiarize yourself with response measures in the event of meteorological disasters.
