On December 9, Ambassador Zheng Bingkai held a working meeting with Sandra V. Husbands, Minister of Training and Tertiary Education of Barbados. For the development of China-Aid projects--Hope Agricultural Training Institute and Centre for Food Security and Entrepreneurship. The team from the Agency for International Economic and Corporation (AIECO) of Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China briefed on the latest progress of the two projects.Accompanied by Economic and Commercial Counselor Mr. Lei Hao.

Ambassador Zheng expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Training and Tertiary Education of Barbados for their support and cooperation on the two projects and engaged in in-depth discussions with the Barbadian side on how to maximize the utilization and benefits of the projects supported by China in the future.

Minister Husbands warmly welcomed the delegation of AIECO's visit to Barbados and hoped to continue close cooperation with China in the future, based on this two projects. The minister expressed interest in collaborating on agricultural technical training and vocational education to help Barbados train professional talents and ensure food security of Barbados.
