Ambassador Yan Xiusheng Bid Farewell Call to Prime Minister of Barbados

 On October 4th, H.E. Yan Xiusheng, Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China to Barbados bid a farewell call to The Hon. Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados.

    Ambassador Yan conveyed the sincere greetings of President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, reviewed the fruitful achievements in China-Barbados relations and cooperation during his tenure,expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided by Prime Minister Mottley and the Government of Barbados, and affirmed that China values its relationship with Barbados, standing ready to deepen traditional friendship, enhance political mutual trust, expand practical cooperation, and build a closer China-Barbados community with a shared future.

    Prime Minister Mottley extended her warm greetings and best wishes to President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, highly praised Ambassador Yan for his dedication to advancing Barbados-China relations during his tenure, and affirmed that the Government of Barbados will firmly uphold the One-China principle and work all out to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and forge an even closer Barbados-Chinacommunity with a shared future for the benefit of both peoples.
