On March 2nd, H.E. Yan Xiusheng, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Barbados visited the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and had a friendly talk with Mr. Doug Hoyte, the General Manager of CBC. Mr. Zou Xi, Political Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Barbados also joined in this visit.
Mr. Hoyte welcomed Ambassador Yan to assume office in Barbados and reviewed the friendly cooperation that has been made between CBC and the Chinese Embassy during these years. Mr. Hoyte expressed that CBC is willing to deepen its relationship and communication with its Chinese counterparts so as to increase the understanding of the people from Barbados and China and also to promote the bilateral relations to a higher level.
Ambassador Yan and Mr. Hoyte also accepted an interview from CBC.
